Next time you stroll down the South Bank, look out for one of our colourful, thoughtfully designed bins.

Fed up with seeing rubbish left near, or scattered around, the fairly unnoticeable black monolithic bins of the South Bank, a team from TMS took a proactive concept to Better Bankside. The thought, make bins more recognisable and reflect the character of the area.

From Karl Poole’s original scamps, we built a rationale and strategy that the agency loved. That brought Client Services on board the project who organised a pitch, Designers to bring the bins to life, and Studio to make sure it was feasible.

It was. If you're ever on the South Bank of the Thames – keep an eye out.
